About Raf Zora Architects
Raf Zora Architects is a London architecture studio specialising in the design of beautiful, thoughtful homes. I work closely with homeowners across London and throughout the UK on residential extensions, renovations, refurbishments and interior design.
Every project begins with understanding how you live today and how you would like your home to support you in the future. Through conversation and collaboration, I develop carefully considered designs that respond to your aspirations, the character of your property and the particular opportunities of its setting.
My approach is contemporary, sensitive and highly personal. I aim to create crafted, welcoming spaces that feel calm and natural, with a strong connection to daylight, landscape and the materials from which they are made. Wherever possible, I also look for thoughtful ways to reduce the environmental impact of a project and help each home continue to serve its occupants for years to come.
About Me
I established Raf Zora Architects after gaining more than 20 years of experience working across residential, cultural, educational and commercial architecture. During that time, I worked with acclaimed and award-winning practices including Coffey Architects, dMFK and Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.
Creating my own architectural practice has allowed me to work more closely and meaningfully with homeowners. As a father of two young children, I understand how significantly a home can shape family life, and how the needs of a household can evolve over time.
I believe the best architecture develops through open conversation and genuine collaboration. My role is to listen carefully, understand what matters to you and guide the project through the design process with clarity and care. Together, we can create a home that is practical, characterful and uniquely suited to the way you want to live.
Alongside architecture, I am also a keen painter. A selection of my original paintings and artistic explorations can be viewed on the website. If you would like to find out more about my paintings please click here.
